Monthly Digest for the month of March
Here's what happened at The Môrdreigiau Chronicles in the month of March
I am wondering if many of you didn’t vote last time because you saw the results and were happy with them? So let’s make this a little more click-baity, shall we? Please vote again if you were one of the three who voted before.
I think now you have to click on it to see how the poll is going. 3 votes is hardly a mandate. Do you want to know which direction I’m currently skewing towards?
Fiction Released
I am trying something different with the links this month. Do you like the way I link to chapters 28 and 29, or do you prefer the simpler links?
A River Trembles
Non-Fiction (Behind the Curtain)
What’s Ahead in April?
I’m continuing to edit A Sword for Wellington and Obsidian and Flame, with the goal of being ready to make props for both by the end of the month (that is, printing out the primary documents, handwriting pieces, making their lap book containers etc.). Obsidian and Flame will be a faux book so I actually plan to make that as a break between edits.
I had plans for a short story/novella to exist between A Sword for Wellington and book four, A Soul for the World, which will involve a library heist and set some groundwork for book 4 which is set 5 years after A Sword for Wellington, but I woke up one morning and realised it really needed to be part of A Sword for Wellington and happen much earlier, so even though it messes with the pacing (which I will then have to fix), at least you’ll get to read the library heist earlier. Now that it has found its home, the story is flowing.
Rebooting Hiraeth has been booted down the to do list. At time of writing, I have yet to start tinkering with the season 2 flow. It may return once Obsidian and Flame are finished, but per last month’s poll, the majority of those who voted thought I should work on the Arthurian epic next.
Let’s just say it’s going to get exciting around here in May with A River Trembles ending and Obsidian and Flame. All being well, A Sword for Wellington will begin in June.
Are you looking forward to it?

Huh, I have that poll button checked to hide results and yet I can still see them before I voted! Unless it’s just me?
