First Digestible for 2026!
Poll, 1st Qtr Schedule and What happened at The Môrdreigiau Chronicles in January
Not only does this digestible contain the usual digest of fiction and non-fiction, but it also has the release dates for new material in 2026, including one I have not talked about until now. (Unless you know me or caught the Note(s) in the app where I mentioned it.) There’s also a poll because my ability to title the collaboration project has gone entirely out the window.
Fiction Released
A Sword for Wellington
Chapters 26 through 30 of the third book in the series. (Scroll down for a link to the first book.)
Other Fiction
Non-Fiction (Behind the Curtain)
I finally put together a playlist for “The End” Diaries, which is what I am calling vlogging my way through writing book four of this trilogy. Link is the first YouTube image below.
And um, if I wrote a novella to slot in before the final book, does that make book 4 actually book 5 in a trilogy? Asking for a friend.
Here are the videos posted on YouTube in the month of January.
What’s Ahead for 2026?
Ok, ok, we finally have a schedule for the first half of the year. I, um, wrote/edited a novella and have finished writing and editing book 4, A Gift for the World. Whenever Season 2 of Obsidian & Flame sorts itself out, it’ll run on Wednesdays, so TBA on that one. Short stories will drop in whenever they see fit.
April 11—A Sword for Wellington finishes.
April 18—Selene’s Vow, a 7 part novella, begins. It finishes on May 30.
June 6—Collaboration Round Up Post. Details coming on this soon (including the title, see poll below. I’m still waffling.)
June 13—A Gift for the World begins. It has 44 instalments and so will finish some time in 2027.
I am also working on putting together a PDF and/or EPUB file of the first two books in The Môrdreigiau Chronicles, in order to make your binge-reading a bit easier. Stay tuned.
Selene’s Vow—What Is It About?
Lady Selene Jermyn, daughter of the Earl of Perram, has been waiting for her future husband to arrive. The eldest Perram daughter gifts her dreigiau môr husband with an ancient moonstone pendant. Only problem is it’s been lost in a card game….
Lord Carton, Daimon Grey, won her jewels from her father. As a second son, he needs to find his own way in the world. Soldiering didn’t do it but he takes peculiar pleasure in fleecing rich noblemen of their wealth. Besides, the last thing he wants to build is a legacy.
A handsome draig môr has appeared, asking for the moonstone. What lengths with Selene go to in order to retrieve it and thus keep the vow her mother broke?
Collaboration Title Poll!!
So … imagine it’s 1822 and sailing ships can fly. Imagine a book filled with short-ish stories targeted at young people to encourage them to sign up. What would this book be called?
Yes, I’m hoping there are writers among you who will join in these shenanigans. More details to come some time in April but in the meantime, I’m torn between all these titles.
