Yes, Leanne I am so here for the new name (love it, cannot pronounce it, but knowing it is welsh I am totally ok with that) Also, please find vintage luggage, it is one of my favourite props, all those wishful, hopes and dreams, in the symbol of a simple rectangle. Ones whole life within, venturing on a new path. Also, 💯 yes to the dress up and strolling down the street with snippets of your post cards / letter pressed pieces to market your writing. I’d actually love to join you. Bravo my friend, bravo 👏
I will have to either add audio to this post or do a separate audio post of how to pronounce the Welsh words I'm using. And I will definitely be tapping my Welsh friend on the shoulder with "do I got this right?" It is such a musical language that once you find the right lilt, you are away.
And yes, join me! Do you have an outfit? It would be good to have company ... I will drop you a DM over on IG. (OMG.)
This is an epic project, Leanne. Can I suggest you try dressing up both in Regency costume and also as a sea dragon? Split test the two costumes and see which gets you the most engagement. Or enlist a buddy to dress up with you.
You mean like an inflatable sea dragon costume? Do they even exist?? And I know they’re hot to wear because one of my rabbis wore one... maybe a winter option?
If they don’t exist they should! A sea dragon version of those inflatable dinosaur costumes would be amazing! That might be a whole extra project though ...
Love the title. I think "morgawr" is the equivalent name in Cornish. My dad and I would always look out for "morgawr" in Falmouth Bay, Cornwall. Yet to catch a glimpse, but I do always keep my eyes open 👀

All of that sounds like so much fun! Can't wait to see all the props and costumes and I'm very intrigued to start getting to know some characters. 😍

I am sure the morgawr are out there. I’ve seen them drawn on maps!
I'm never going to stop looking 😁
